After resolving many of the issues mentioned in the last post, the mechanical components could be fully assembled. Spacers were 3D printed to ensure that the parts fit snugly and moved smoothly. The L-block was reprinted to attach at the correct orientation and to remove the bushing. The plate to attach the nut to the L-block was also printed. Once all of these components were printed, the mechanical assembly of the legs of the crutch could be completed. The images show the legs in the deployed and retracted positions.
